VProfessional is a new company founded by Damian Griffiths, for 10 years an IT Director of Eversheds and Addleshaw Goddard, two of the UK’s largest law firms. At  Eversheds he project directed the implementation of the Thomson Elite practice management system throughout the UK and Europe, at that time the largest legal IT project in the world, setting up the firm’s first national IT department in the process.  At Addleshaw Goddard he project directed one of the most successful IT mergers between law firms in recent years and helped drive technology forward throughout the five year period during which they were the second fastest growing law firm in the UK Top 20, and the firm with the most improved profitability. A co-creator of the world’s first subscription-based online legal TV service, his career to date includes many awards for IT-enabled innovation and departmental successes. That online TV service was the overall winner of the 2006 Financial Times Most Innovative Law Firms award. Addleshaw Goddard additionally placed 4th in that competition with an IT-supported innovation which featured podcasts, syndication and video streaming.

Damian has been a regular speaker at industry IT events across the UK and Europe for the past 8 years, talking on topics as diverse as online technologies, law firm mergers, IT strategy and financial systems.

VProfessional has been created to help take technology to the next level within professional services firms of all sizes. The company has a growing network of associate firms and individuals, especially within rich media areas. It is well networked within UK law firms and breaking into other professional service sectors.
